NVDA Expert 2025

The NVDA Expert certification tests your general knowledge of the NVDA screen reader by drawing from knowledge found in the NVDA Basic Training module, the NVDA user guide, and other publically available resources. Being able to pass this online exam proves that you are proficient in the usage of NVDA, and that you have the skills to help others learn how to best use the product. The online exam is free for anyone to take, however if you pass the exam and wish to be officially listed as an NVDA expert, a certificate can be purchased from us. Please note that the online exam is currently only available in English, and all questions assume that NVDA and any other applications are set to English.

NVDA Expert (with Microsoft Word) 2017

The NVDA Expert (with Microsoft Word) Certification tests your knowledge using the NVDA screen reader in Microsoft Word.  Questions draw on information from:

• Topics in the Microsoft Word with NVDA training module
• The NVDA user guide
• Microsoft documentation
• Other publicly available resources.

A knowledge of the information covered in the Basic Training for NVDA" module is also expected. Being able to pass this online exam proves that you are proficient in the usage of NVDA and Microsoft Word with the keyboard.  You will have the skills to help others learn how to best use both NVDA and Microsoft Word. The online exam is free for anyone to take.  If you pass the exam and wish to be officially listed as an NVDA Certified Expert (with Microsoft Word), a certificate can be purchased from us. Please note that the online exam is currently only available in English.  All questions assume that NVDA, Microsoft Word and any other applications are set to English.
